Vita Da Top Maria Carla Boscono, fotoreporter d'eccezione, racconta i suoi "trucchi". Settanta sfilate in una settimana: questo il ritmo di una top internazionale come Maria Carla Boscono, 23 anni, sulle passerelle da quand'era giovanissima. Alcune molto impegnative, come quella di Dior: pettinature super elaborate, trucco pesantissimo. «A volte usano anche la colla per i posticci», racconta. Ma cosa succede alla pelle dopo un training del genere? «Per Dior si sfila sempre all'ippodromo di Parigi, lontano dal centro. Cosi quando ho finito, in auto, ho ben 20 minuti per struccarmi con un fluido che ho scoperto io (e ora lo usano anche le altre), della linea Crealine H20. Poi stendo un po' di Creme de la Mer, ideale per chi fa il mio mestiere». Ma il suo vero problema sono i capelli: su una passerella sono ultra lisci, su un'altra li vogliono ricci. «Per fortuna, a Parigi, ho scoperto una crema al gelsomino di Leonor Creyl. Ci sono anche buoni shampoo per capelli ultra secchi di Kérastase. In viaggio mi porto sempre Huile Prodigeuse Nuxe, che va bene su capelli, corpo, visso». La beauty routine di Maria Carla è tutta qui: «Come molte delle mie colleghe, quando lavoro non ho voglia di truccarmi». Sacrifici per mantenere la taglia 40 (a volte 38, quando è sotto stress)? «No, se avessi dovuto vivere sempre a dieta non avrei mai fatto questo mestiere. Sono romana, italiana, mi piace mangiare bene. E la mia casa a New York è accanto alla Magnolia Bakery, una tentazione continua, perché adoro i dolci». Sport, palestra, massagi? «Non ho tempo per essere constante. Ma se potessi farei yoga, trekking, giri in bici all'aria aperta. E quando ci riesco mi rilasso ai bagni russi: a Manhattan ce ne sono di splendidi». E nel futuro? «Metter su famiglia. E reinventarmi nel lavoro. Non so ancora come. Life Of A Top Maria Carla Boscono, the exceptional fotoreporter, tells her beauty secrets. Seventy shows in one month: this is the rhythm of an international top model like Maria Carla Boscono, 23 years old, who has been on the catwalk since when she was very young. Some shows are very demanding, like that one of Dior: super elaborated hairdo, the heaviest trick of make-up. «Sometimes they even use glue for the extension», she said. But what happens with the skin after this sort of training? «The Dior shows are always at the Paris race course, far away from the central. So once I've finished, in the car I have 20 minutes to take out the make-up with a liquid cream that I discovered (and now all the other models also use), the Crealine H20 line. After that I spread a little bit of Creme de la Mer, which is ideal for anyone who is doing this job». But her real problem is the hair: on one catwalk it is sleek, then on another they want it curly. «Fortunately, in Paris I discovered a jasmine cream called Leonor Creyl. There is also a good shampoo for dry hair called Kérastase. When I'm travelling I always carry Huile Prodigeuse Nuxe with me, it's good for hair, body and face». Sports, gym, massage? «I don't have time to do them constantly. But if I could I would exercise yoga, trekking and go biking outside. And when I can make it I go to the Russian hotsprings: in Manhattan they are some of the splendid ones». And in the future? «Have a family. And reinvent myself in this job. I still don't know how it's going to be like. But when I am 30 years old, I will not be a model anymore». • «Friendships and complicities are happening now.
