I'm caught in the middle of a busy working week here, but I want to drop in to say a little greeting for someone who has just turned 26
years old today. Happy Birthday, Mariacarla! :)

Well, guess what? We've come to the 5th anniversary of my MCB website today! Wow, never thought that I could make it this far. Five years
isn't a short period of time by all means and I'm so grateful to be here still, for all of you. My sincere thanks to everyone who had helped
me along the way. This site means nothing without you. I thank you!!!
We are bound to have something special on a day like today, and that's exactly what I'll deliver. As you can see, Mariacarla is heavily
featured on the September 2006 issue of Flair. First there's the cover, followed by an article/interview, and then it's the
obligatory editorial, called "100%". Photos by (Philippe) Cometti, although I am not 100% sure [no pun intended!] if he's also the
photographer of the interview pics. As far as I'm concerned, this is my favorite since Mariacarla made that drastic change on her look.
Thanks to Maya for the complete scans. If you are looking for the larger scans, some of them can be found on the bottom of this update.
Aside of the Flair pics, Maya also sent me a page from the August issue of Vogue Paris, which deals with Mariacarla's performance of The
Maids. I, however, don't consider myself in a worthy position to explain what this is all about. Hey, Mariacarla herself will do that!
Faran Krentcil of the Daily Mini (of Fashion Week Daily) interviewed Mariacarla right after the play finished and the interview (in English,
at last) is available here for you to read, albeit in raw form. There are five pages, sent in by an undisclosed source.
This is the long version of the new Givenchy ad, as opposed to the regular, single page version that is on the previous update. And
now, time for the reprise of the excellent Flair editorial.

A quick update on two new things. One is Mariacarla on the cover of the August 2006 issue of Vogue China (a surprise!), while the
other one is the fall 2006 advertisement of Givenchy (no surprise...).

It's H&M time again. I suppose some visitors haven't downloaded the video yet because they are too reluctant to follow the procedure
(which is rather complicated, I must admit). Thankfully, now we have an easier alternative since the video has been uploaded to Rapidshare,
by my friend Guillaume. Just click on the image above.
An interview from a recent issue of CHI. This one is billed as an 'exclusive' so there is no way that my site is going to miss it
out, despite the fact that the source is a gossip magazine. The interview looks quite intriguing, though. Unfortunately no English
translation is available. Photos by Stefano Guindani. Thanks to Maya for this and the rest.
Up next is a picture from the last issue of Vanity Fair Italia. This was also shot by Stefano Guindani. Mariacarla pays tribute to
the Italy national football team, for their victory on the final of World Cup 2006 in Germany. Meanwhile the last picture comes from this
July issue of Flair. Mariacarla with Riccardo Tisci at this year's Cannes film festival.

I forgot to add another video to yesterday's update. This video is split into four big pieces (total filesize is 154 MB!) which had been
uploaded to Rapidshare by Leon. To join the pieces, you'll need a small program called HJ Split (get it for free from freebyte.com). There
are no vidcaps yet as I haven't even downloaded the video myself. The links:

Breaking the silence! At long last, I've got a little time to write down a few words in this page. My website has been very quiet for more
than half a year, and that has something to do with me indeed. Was I losing my interest? No. Was I too busy? Yes, I was and still I am. I'm
actually committed to a full time job since last December and that eventually brought some changes to the site. For instance, I decided to
drop the usual intros that I used to write here, to make it easier for me to carry on under this new circumstance. However, I make an
exception for today's update as there are several things here that need brief explanation. Read on.
The pictures above are taken from the personal vault of Italian designer Francesco Scognamiglio. I would like to thank Francesco
himself who has been very kind to share these rarities with me. Please forgive me as it's taken too long to put the pics on my website.
Francesco is one of the first designers to believe in Mariacarla as a model during the earliest days of her career. In fact, the first
picture, which is an old Francesco Scognamiglio campaign, is Mariacarla's first ever campaign for a designer! The rest of the pics are from
old fashion shows that Mariacarla did for Francesco. Don't forget to visit www.francescoscognamiglio.it
now.
Let's go Backstage with Mariacarla Boscono! Mariacarla was interviewed by Fashion TV behind the scene of Alberta Ferretti fall 2005
show in Milan, in this 3-minutes long video. Many thanks to Leon who had uploaded the video to Rapidshare. As long as someone downloads it
once every 30 days it will remain there. After 30 days with no downloads it gets deleted from Rapidshare. So you know what to do right
now: DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO!
This was shown on television in Europe sometimes late last year and for those who haven't seen it yet, here is the amazing TV ad of H&M,
featuring our Mariacarla of course (instead of that addicted model). The video is also stored at Yahoo Group,
in pieces. It will take some time to gather the pieces into one complete video, but once it's done, you'll be more than just pleased with
the result.
Blonde and freshly short-haired (at the time, at least). This is from a photo session which took place in Paris on December 2005, with
French photographer Olivier Roller. His website is here.
Just another version of the Jean Paul Gaultier spring 2006 campaign. The other models are Morgane Dubled and Milagros Schmoll. As
usual, the photographer is Jean Baptiste Mondino.
Two photos from the recent happenings in Italy. The first one is from Convivio 2006,
which is something that I have no idea about. Meanwhile the second one is from the wedding party of Piero Piazzi and Silvia Giusfredi.
Pictured here are of course Mariacarla and Mr. Piazzi himself, a person who plays a very important role in Mariacarla's career.
