Mariacarla at the Jean Paul Gaultier spring 2005 show in Paris (October 5, 2004)

Here's a full page Mariacarla picture from the last month's issue of Harper's Bazaar US. The photo was shot at the backstage of Anna
Molinari spring 2005 show in Milan. Of course Mariacarla would eventually appear in that Anna Molinari editorial, on this month's
Bazaar, as you can view here or here.

You can get a new video in the files section of my mariacarla Yahoo Group (the filename is IMGP3991.AVI). According to Guillaume who sent
the video to me, it was taken from a TV show called "Habillé(e)s pour l'Hiver" by Mademoiselle Agnés & Loic Prigent, aired last Saturday on
Canal+, a French private channel. In this little video Mariacarla was interviewed, in candid style that is, by designer Jeremy Scott during
the Les Girls party, which took place at le Lido de Paris about a month ago. You've gotta see and hear how Mariacarla said "I'm excited,
I'm aaalways excited, errrrrr yesss!" here. Got me 'excited' too :)
The show was recorded on videotape but however it's not possible to make a proper video capture from VCR to PC (excuse the ambient noise
that's present). Despite such limitation, the video is still worth watching and furthermore we even hope to bring more MC bits'n'pieces
from this show, as Guillaume himself indicated that it is only a preview.
We're still in the party mood, so let's throw in some more party pics. The first couple of pics are still from the Les Girls party, scanned
from The Daily Front Row Extra by Guillaume. Meanwhile the last couple are coming from this April issue of Vogue Italia, scanned by Maya.
The 1st page features Mariacarla with Audrey Marnay again at Les Girls, while the 2nd page features Mariacarla with Elise Crombez and some
other models at the Evisu party in Milan on February.
I also added some pics yesterday. Go to this page to see what else are new.

OK folks, these are the remaining scans from that set of Saks Fifth Avenue spring 2005 ads. Enjoy!

My Italian friend Maya had just sent me something very unique, that is a must see for all of you Mariacarla fans. It's the "ticket", or
invitation to be precise, for the Riccardo Tisci fall-winter 2005/2006 show in Milan, Italy (February 25, 2005). You can find this
picture inside the April 2005 issue of Flair. Can anybody make a bigger and better scan for me, please? The image simply leaves me
breathless from the first moment I laid my eyes upon it. So sensual and full of lust...
PS: another Saks scan has been added to the previous update, check it out below

Apparently two new Saks Fifth Avenue scans have just been posted to alt.binaries.pictures.supermodels by the person who scanned the
initial 12 pics. I'm still missing pics #2,4,5,6,11 of the set, btw. I don't have newsgroup access and I have no contact with that person
either, so please e-mail me if you have the scans I'm looking for.
Cleaning up the closet! Here are various runway photos from the past seasons, found during my recent web-browsing trip. I guess it's better
to feature these stuffs here than just leave them 'gathering dust' in my computer :)

A brand new week, a brand new editorial. Thanks to the one who sent me the pics. Now, let's just get inside the latest issue of Harper's
Bazaar US (April 2005), and take a look at Rossella Tarabini's "Secrets of Style". Rossella, the Anna Molinari designer, is the fashion
editor of the Harper's Bazaar Personal Style section in this issue and here she utilizes her current campaign model again. Of course I'm
talking about Mariacarla. This editorial features photographs by Michelangelo Di Battista, with portrait and additional photos by Kristine
Thiemann. I still haven't figured out who is the photographer behind the Anna Molinari spring 2005 campaign, perhaps it's Michelangelo? Let
me know if you know.

My thanks to Joanmiro for the scans of "The Good Life", an editorial taken from Bergdorf Goodman spring 2004 promotional magazine.
The photographer is Satoshi Saikusa. I do love this editorial, but I am let down by the fact that Mariacarla had to share it with another
model. The other half belongs to Oluchi Onweagba, and it's not my concern to feature her here.
Mariacarla previously also appeared in the spring 2003 and fall 2003 issues of Bergdorf Goodman. The spring 2003 editorial "Unscripted" was
shot in Bangkok, remember that one? The fall 2003 editorial "Palais Russe" was photographed by Stephane Sednaoui. This one was shared
between Mariacarla and Leticia Birkheuer. No, it is yet to be scanned. Stay tuned for my scans!

Let me just add these four catwalk pics of the Antonio Berardi fall 2005 show that I found this morning. Other than those, I've also
added an advertisement picture of the Alessandro Dell'Acqua spring 2005 campaign.

A few more fall 2005 backstage photos, 3 from Alexander McQueen and 4 from Paco Rabanne.

It's the great Saks Fifth Avenue spring 2005 campaign again. I've just received pics #1,7,8,9,10,12 of this particular set. Now the
missing ones are pics #2,4,5,6,11. Anybody else have those? Send 'em to me!
I also have the newest versions of the Alessandro Dell'Acqua and Anna Molinari ads, thanks to Maya as usual. The former is the
Dell'Acqua eyewear ad, whereas the latter is just another version of the Molinari ad, the ninth one I've seen and the best so far in my
opinion. Oh yes, something is partially revealed, and I love it!
Please scroll down and read the last update again. The first three paragraphs, about the Tom Ford movie, have been rewritten to ensure that
the information is as accurate as possible, and also to include some additional infos you must know.

The Milan and Paris fall 2005 fashion weeks are gone and Mariacarla has returned to New York since. Back to school! Now you might ask, when
can we have a taste of the girl's acting? Well, this is the time! We have some kind of fashion film, with a tongue-in-cheek title Tom
Ford is Missing. The film, a sorf of 007 spoof, was produced by Tom's friend Kevin Krier for his company Kevin Krier Associates, and
directed by 25-years-old Cyril Guyot. It was premiered on early April 2004 at the
Tribeca Film Center, as a cinematic homage to the designer, who had just departed from Gucci and YSL at that time. You read it, this was
filmed more than one year ago, long before Mariacarla started taking her acting classes. Nevertheless, it's still a good sample of what will
come next.
This link will take you straight to the Tom Ford is
Missing page on Cyril's website, where you can view the film as well as the film stills. Meanwhile if you click on the image-strip above,
you will be taken into a page, made by yours truly, containing the direct link
to download the video (12.36 MB, requires Quick Time Player for viewing) and 132 frame-by-frame image sequence of Mariacarla's performance.
She only appears for less than four seconds, between 0:49 and 0:53 in this 1:55 video. That's all? Of course not. Her scene is much longer
than that, but what we've got here is only a trailer of the movie, edited from the full length video (I don't have it, read on for the
explanation). You'll see that Mariacarla's acting isn't too far removed from her catwalk action. She does both in a natural way, as always.
The actual movie has a running time of approximately 23 minutes, and is still categorized as a form of short movie anyway. The format of the
film is 35mm, shot mainly in black and white, although there are some color moments too. Getting a copy is next to impossible, as the movie
itself is not available commercially. This is an exclusive film for the fashion industry, starring some well-known fashion names. The female
characters, in order of appearance in the trailer, are Elise Crombez, Karen Elson, Liya Kebede, Shalom Harlow, Mariacarla Boscono, Helena
Christensen, Natasha Vojnovic, Amanda Moore, Ujjwala Raut, Hana Soukupova, Daria Werbowy, Erin Wasson and Carine Roitfeld.
For those who haven't seen the Vogue Nippon February 2004 editorial, you and me can now preview the editorial in its entirety with
these small pics. And for anyone who have the magazine, contact me if you can provide the big scans of this editorial. Photographed by Paolo
Roversi who previously worked with Mariacarla twice for Vogue Italia, "In Marcello's Eyes" (should've been renamed "In Mariacarla's Eyes",
me thinks) is a film-inspired editorial with a definite '80s vibe due to the big hair. Well, that sure ain't a bad thing for the avid
'80s melodic rock fan in me :)

Backstage frenzy! Let's have some fun in the backstage with Mariacarla now. There are 45 photos in total, sorted in chronological order: 5
from Burberry Prorsum, 3 from Gucci, 1 from Fendi, 4 from Roberto Cavalli, 3 from Alessandro Dell'Acqua,
14 from Dolce & Gabbana (the most adorable shots of them all!), 11 from Lagerfeld Gallery and 4 from Viktor & Rolf.
Look at the filenames to avoid any confusion. Of course I don't need to tell which ones are Milan shows and which ones are Paris shows.
Instead, check out the pages I've created for Milan and Paris
fall 2005 backstage.
