Finally I've got a picture of the Saks Fifth Avenue campaign. The scan was originally posted on a newsgroup but it later popped up on
another place. This is the only pic I found, whereas it is said that this is 'Mariacarla Boscono for Saks - 03 of 12'. Damn, I missed out
the rest of the set! If you have the remaining scans from this set, could you please send them to me? I'll wait for you.
As a reminder, I'm still opening an invitation for any of you who would like to contribute your own scans of these Saks ads for the
Mariacarla site. For your guidance, the ads are available in the March issue of W and perhaps also in the recent issues of some other US
mags. I suppose the pics should be available in the catalogue too. I have neither of those, so please help me.
Instead of finding more Saks scans, what I could found from the website are just some Alessandro Dell'Acqua scans, in addition to the
three Elle scans that were already featured yesterday. It's alright, I'd take all of them anyway.
I will feature a stack of new backstage photos tomorrow. For today, here are one of Alexander McQueen show, one of Yves Saint
Laurent Rive Gauche show and three of Lanvin show, all courtesy of Style.com. Additionally, the Fall 2005 Fashion Shows Wrap-Up
on Style.com includes two comments from Mariacarla.
- on Dolce & Gabbana: "It's amazing this season. It's perfect for me, because it's a little bit vintagey."
- on YSL Rive Gauche: "I'm wearing a really nice piece, which is a symbol of the house. It's a smoking reinvented by Pilati, who did an
amazing, gorgeous job—chic, chic, chic, and fresh."
Here come the details again, for one last time I hope (until the next fashion week, that is). 2 photos from Alexander McQueen show, 3
photos from Lagerfeld Gallery show, 1 photo from Paco Rabanne show, 9 photos from Valentino show and 2 photos from
Viktor & Rolf show.

This is the big thing we've been waiting for for so long... Mariacarla in the latest Vogue Paris! The highly-anticipated editorial
finally makes it way to the March 2005 issue of the magazine, which is the Special Top Models issue. The black and white "Viva Mariacarla"
should be noted as the Italian girl's first ever editorial for Vogue Paris, and I believe it's also the lead editorial in this issue. It was
photographed by Craig McDean, with realisation by Carine Roitfeld.
The editorial is superb and things would've been more perfect if Mariacarla also appears on the cover, but sadly it went to Daria Werbowy.
No need to worry though, as we have something else that's far interesting. Every month Vogue Paris presents a VIP fashion girl to describe
her style, inspirations, obsession, etc in the "Une Fille Un Style" column and this month it's Mariacarla's turn to speak.
The two-pages article is filled with photos of Mariacarla taken by Gigi Stoll, with text by Marie Pointurier. I'm sure you're eager to know
what Mariacarla is talking about here. Don't look any further, it's in the Vogue Paris March 2005
page. You can read the English translation of almost everything, including what she said in the "Hot List" section. Again and again, I have
to thank Guillaume because all of this wouldn't be possible without his helps. Merci beaucoup!
Still in Paris, we are now taking a look at a big party that happened on the edge of the last Paris fashion week (March 6, 2005). Follow
this link at Style.com to read
more about this Paris party for Les Girls, which was co-hosted by the aforementioned Vogue Paris fashion editor Carine Roitfeld.
Two shots from the party are viewable right here. The first shot features Riccardo Tisci and Mariacarla Boscono, in a dress by the designer.
Meanwhile the second shot features Riccardo Tisci, Liya Kebede and Mariacarla Boscono, in Riccardo Tisci dress, with Vincent Darré. Photos:
Stephane Feugere.
You know what, it's that time again for some Tisci bits! One thing does lead to another, eh? Anyway, Riccardo has done a string of
publicities recently in several magazines, as a showcase of his spring 2005 collections (featuring Mariacarla, who else???). Here's a pair
of pics that can be found on Elle US March 2005.
The third picture has nothing to do with Ricky. This runway pic came from Roberto Cavalli spring 2005 show, just like the backstage pic
above. I have no idea about the source, but it might also be another scan from Elle.

Ah, this classic editorial from Jalouse France June 2001! Never thought that I would be able to feature the entire thing at last
(thanks again, Guillaume). The origin is actually a small version of Jalouse, or Mini Jalouse as you can read on the cover. Inside the mag
there's the ed, "Gran Turismo".
It's a quite cool editorial, but it was presented in a rather unusual way, which will leave us wondering how these dreamy Mariacarla
pictures look like in their original form. All photos by Stephane Gallois. Realisation by Caroline Christiansson, who is now the fashion
editor of Glamour France.

Over this and the forthcoming two updates I will feature three editorials from three different French magazines... one is from 2001, one is
from 2003 and another one is from 2005 (yup, that long-awaited ed!). But before we go further, let me thank Guillaume for his great
contribution with the three eds that you are about to see here.
The first editorial, "Sous influence" is taken from Numéro 46, the September 2003 issue. I only have three pics before this, as
archived here. The photographer is Horst Diekgerdes, who would later shot the Alessandro Dell'Acqua spring
2005 campaign with Mariacarla. Realisation by Samuel François, with assistance from Alexandra Bernard.

A couple of weeks ago I found some eye-catching video clips at VideoCelebrity.org
(click to view the Mariacarla Boscono section). At first I thought that we really had to pay some money to get them, but well, glad I was
wrong on that! Don't let that site rip you off, because in fact you can download the videos for FREE. Yes folks, I went through the backdoor
and stole the links for your viewing pleasure! Just go to my videos page and you'll see what I mean.
There are 6 new videos here, but unfortunately all of them clock in at under 30 seconds, which is way too short! They sure feel incomplete.
Most footages are no surprises to me, with an exception to the backstage one. Never seen this scenery before! A rarity, and a pure joy to
watch of course.
Alternatively, I have created a Yahoo Group where you can also download these videos. Click here
to go to the group. The usual instructions still apply.
Here is another double-page spread of the Alessandro Dell'Acqua spring 2005 advertisements. I got the two scans from theSquare.

A fabulous news has just come in earlier this week. It's about Mariacarla's best friend Riccardo Tisci, who has just been named as the new
creative director of the Paris fashion house Givenchy. After waiting for almost a year, Riccardo is now officially the head designer
for the women's collections of the house. This prestigious contract is certainly a huge step for him, and naturally it's expected to have
positive impact towards Mariacarla as well. The designer will make his debut for the label in July, on the next Paris haute couture fashion
week.
Here are a few more Paris fall 2005 backstage photos taken from hintmag.com. The shows are Lagerfeld Gallery, which once again
includes Karl Lagerfeld with the models after the show, and Lanvin.
Speaking of Lagerfeld Gallery, I need to re-confirm that Mariacarla is indeed the model of the label's new campaign. No more confusion and
question about that. Go to the advertisements page for the pics.
I have also added some more photos from the following Milan fall 2005 shows. They are called the details, I guess.
